the logger tracks in GMT. after saying "what a gas" i got to thinking about this: while chukar and i were at 17k feet over washoe valley, trucks were literally being blown over below us. we saw them on the drive home but not from the air. would have made for a dicey landing in the valley tho.

That looks like a whole lot of fun. How many times did you get out? I've been sitting at home thinking about wave flying whilst the wind was howling. I almost called the day you captured the egg to see if I could escort you. Maybe next time. Skimmer.

looking like sat the 14th will be a windy one .....wave? ? if you're coming out to asi bring your warm clothes. sunday looks like a fly wave at minden type of day.

sunday the 15th will be a big wind day. wave is definately a good possibility since the wx folks are talking stable air this side of the sierras. too cloudy? maybe. chukar and i will tell you if it was after 500 kms minimum. should be good/ stoney

Hey Stoney, this flight looks like it was a blast! Did you qualify for anything that you had not previously done so, on this day? Anything "1-26" specific as well? I'd like to experiment a little this winter and spring with some wave flying, myself.
