Congrats to Skimmer on his CFIG on a very difficult flying day at ASI. After Pete left i had a long and confidential face to face talk with his examiner "Gary" and he told me that now i will have some competition for my current title of "best instructor in the universe." we shall see. stoney

Well I don't know about that. Even hero's have hero's and you Stoney are my hero and Idol. I only hope to be as good of an instructor as you. ;D Thanks any way though. Thanks goose. You rock too. Now I have a license to learn while I teach. Skimmer

Way to go, Skimmer.
We just had to replace the aluminum knob on the rear seat spoiler control in one of our Grobs at Byron. That's where the instructors sit and we figure all those shaking, sweaty palms over the years took their toll ;D

Thanks larry, In the 2-33 there is a cross bar that supports the bottom of the canopy just behind the front seat passenger. There is already a clear impression of my fingers from garbing on to it for dear life. If a student could see his instructors face in the back seat he would probably quit flying and join a monestary. I understand what that spoiler knob has gone though. ;D Skimmer
