It was an amazing thermal day today. I had the pleasure of two flights in the 1-26. Thanks for the tow flights Tristan! Skimmer was giving some dual to Ron Madison today in the white 2-33 and Stoney had the ASK-21 airborne. More guys out there too I think. Aside from my first launch and affirmation that I could find plenty of sink out there between the field and the Dog Skins (.3 flight off a high tow) - the second high tow led to a great flight between Red Rocks, First Lift, Tule Peak, Dog Skins and back to Tule Peak. Three climbs to 14K (no oxygen on board today, coulda shoulda woulda...) I think Skimmer and I both had more than 3.5hrs each on the big lift flight and I had to fight to get down due to schedule requirements later in the day.
I bet more great lift is in store for you all during the Libelle event this weekend! Hope everyone has fun.

Merlin,
Sorry you didn't have oxygen. Next time out we'll find a canula and brief you on how to fill and use the system.
We really covered some ground.
The 3.5 hour flight made for a confidence booster for Ron. I think after some pattern work he will be ready to solo.
An other soaring monster has been created.

Speaking of oxygen and great lift days, was Sunday a wave day for anyone? Saw lots of lenticulars out today, a few up north over the field probably, too.

I just got back into town today from a nice trip with the wife so I wasn't around to see the wave.
Hope there was lots of flying going on while I was gone.
