Is there an up to date list of NSA bird names that are taken? A goal for this season is to get a keeper birdname. (Tried "chough" but for some reason nobody knew what is was, much less how to pronounce it .) I'd like to figure out what others are available. 17U is alive and well and assembled at Byron. So far, it seems to fly a lot better at ASI! We're both anxious to get back there this spring! Good work on the site Skimmer/Rocco/Pete and Stoney! Larry PS- a chough is a kind of British crow.

Yes I've had a bit of a chough before too. Some times it takes a couple of weeks to get rid of. I do believe Tom Alexander has the Bird call list. You can see which names are taken on our web site under the " Our People page" nevadasoaring.com/?page_id=1002Give me a list of names that you would have preference to and I could forward them to Tom and see which one you end up with.
