Yesterday was a big day!! We had a huge turn out of people and a great BBQ put on by Stoney and Chukar. We had something like 17 tows. Can you imagine? This is a number that happens during the soaring season more than February. Red tail managed to find a thermal just above down wind in the 1-36 and sustained flight for more than the average sled ride. I received more training towards my CFIG. I plan on taking the check ride in mid March. Our two solo Cadets Paul and David were showing their flying abilities and landing like real pros. I bet they will solo Next month if they keep at it. We had a few members come out and brush the dust off their feathers. The soaring bug is definitely in the air. Stoney and Chukar plan on flying wave this week. Great to see all the action!! Skimmer.

we actually had 19 tows. chukar and i are hoping against hope that monday or tues works out as a wave day. with any decent lift i should be able to get to minden in 9H and claim the PASCO egg for the first time in a long time. the egg has been stuck in the central valley for quite a while but somehow somebody from minden made the glider trek to william or hollister and returned it to minden. it's ours now almost.

Great job with the forum Skimmer & Stoney! Thanks for setting it up.
Please explain how to legally claim the PASCO egg...without getting arrested!
